I remember that Carl and I were in wood shop class together. He was always very friendly and wore a smile.

Martha Cross (Jeffers)
Carl's aunt (Mabel Caldwell) was my 4-H leader, and I remember all the fun times we had at Carl's house and pond on summer 4-H outings. It was here I first became brave enough to jump off the diving board!
