Also, sorry to hear about Jackie.  She was such a cute girl, and I don't think there was anyone who didn't

like her.

Jacklyn Ullman Conrath

Died: June 03, 2015

Jacklyn (Jackie) Gene Conrath, age 73, of Hilliard, Ohio, (formerly from Marietta), went to be with the lord on Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at Arlington Court Nursing Home, located in Upper Arlington, Ohio. Jackie grew up in Marietta, Ohio, and graduated from Marietta High in 1958. She studied medical billing technology while working for St. Joseph’s Hospital in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Subsequently, she worked for nearly 30 years as a large group medical claims specialist at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Parkersburg, West Virginia. In 2002 she retired and relocated to Hilliard, Ohio to be near her son, Christopher D. Conrath, and grandson, Alexander C. Conrath. Her parents, Frank Ullman and Marjorie Sullivan, of Marietta, preceded her in death. In addition to her son and grandson, she is survived by her sister Nancy (Joe) Gray, brother Steve Ullman, nephew Tyler (Tina) Witham, all of Marietta, and former daughter-in-law and very special friend, Terri S. Stone, of Hilliard.

Jackie loved to explore new places and to shop for antiques, crafts or bargains at the mall. She also enjoyed playing tennis, attending annual festivals and taking weekend trips. Although a stroke took her ability to speak, she appreciated visitors and clearly let them know how much she cared for them. Her gentle and kind spirit continues to shine on those who knew and loved her.

Services will be held at Tidd Funeral Home, located at 5265 Norwich St. in Hilliard, Ohio, on Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at noon, preceded by a one-hour visitation at 11 a.m. Following will be a brief gravesite memorial service. A special thank you to Hospice of Central Ohio (Newark office) for the many people who were involved with her care and the incredible time and devotion provided over the last several years. Jackie made numerous friends with the wonderful and compassionate staff of Hospice.

She will be buried in Wesley Chaple Cemetery, Franklin County Ohio

Jackie was one of my best friends in high school.  We lost contact over the years but I have very fond memories of our time together.   She was not only beautiful on the outside but on the inside.
