My family lived just down the street from Max and his parents and I recall one summer when we were in junior high Max organized a circus outdoors at the vacant lot next to his home and we all invited our mother to attend. He had a trapeze rigged up in a tree on the vacant lot as I recall. Those of us in the neighborhood who participated were Sudy and Tim Rosenbusch, Alice and Susie Evans, Jennifer Hardie and my sister Mary Hoye and myself. Max and Jon Bergen were leaders of a group of boys working with Ham Radio which helped my son decide to be an electrical engineer. Margaret and I had fun talking together about Tracy and band camp and the football games. Margaret and Tracy Iam sorry for your lose.
