Moved to Marietta when I was 10. Went to Marion Grade then MHS from 7th to 12th grade.

Graduated from Virginia Intermont College in Bristol, VA with a AA in Fine Art in 1961.

After MHS, held various jobs, marriage, mother of 2 sons. Moved to Sarasota, FL in 1967, lived there for almost 40 years.

1970's taught preschool (3 and 4 year olds). In the '80's worked as secretary/receptionist for a software company.

In the '90's did research and collected glass for a book on the Central Glass Company of Wheeling, WV for the 1863-1893 period as my great-great-grandfather was one of the founders. Very little information or glass pattern identification was known about the company. The book was published by Schiffer Publishing Co. in 2003. The glass collection will be donated to Oglebay in Wheeling after it is photographed in it's entirety.

In 2004 I moved from the West Coast of FL to the East Coast to be near my grandchildren. Being a "grannie" is the best job ever! My grandchildren are Maddie, 10, Reed, 8, and Lily, 4.

I have been teaching yoga for 3 years now and teach 4 days a week and love it. I'm single, have 3 dogs and 1 cat and am very happy with my life!
